Excavations along the southern side of Wall A, to see if Feature 1 continues to the east. The block includes the soil roughly 0.5 m south of Wall A. Additional stones belonging to Feature 1 did surface: the feature is rather a wall, which was named Wall D. It runs almost directly beneath Wall A. The two walls are separated by roughly 0.4 m of soil. Desintegrated bedrock was present in the soil, as was also the case in blocks 19 and 21. Very few finds were uncovered, though all of the ususal categories were represented: pottery, bones, shells and charcoal. Two nails were also found, one made of iron, the other bronze. The pottery seemed to be pre-Hellenistic.
