Soil layer by W62, next to previously excavated area. Extensive amounts of tile was also deposited within this layer, as had been the case in neighbouring blocks to the west. Block was continued on the 25th and large ammounts of tile was still found in the lower parts of the block. A large ammount of finds were also recovered - particularly pottery and several bags were collected over the two days during which the block was excavated. Traces of walls, one running east-west and one running north-south, also became visible during the excavation. The north-south wall should be seen as a continuation of the previously noted structures to the south (wall/structure B). At the bottom of the block the soil changes and become more yellow in colour with similar qualities as bedrock, and this bottom part of the layer is probably situated above the bedrock.
