Block situated N of block 51 and 53 along W side of W159 and W160. Bedrock at bottom of block dips into a possible cut drain in line with the small opening in W161. The soil in S part of block and in the dip is darker than surrounding soil (10YR 3/4 Dark yellowish brown). Crushed shell (both land and sea shells) appear heavily in soil in middle of block. Mycenean layer. 2 animal figurine frag. were found in the very bottom of the "drain". A similare figurine frag was found SW of W163 in 2010. One charcoal sample taken from N part of block. 5/5: 2 pottery, 1 bone, 1 shell. 6/5: 2 pottery, 1 bone, 1 shell, 2 terracotta, 1 charcoal. NB: Top line 81109571-9576 could be to 9575 and thus the points could be 9576-9582.
