Block 57 is situated below block 55 and its outer limits are defined by bedrock to the S and E and W161 to the N. Pure mycenean layer, located beneath the floor level of the building, with large shreds and few bones and shells. Soil sample taken from W5-W6. One very nicely painted shred from E part of block (LHIIIC Middle?). Charcoal sample taken from W6. Block extends below the NE part of block 32. 5/5: 2 pottery, 1 bone, 1 shell, 1 charcoal.
