This block was opened up to get the area down to the same level as the surrounding blocks and to find a possible floor layer.

The soil was somewhat browner here as in the rest of the stoa (Although today was cloudy, which might have changed the colour perception). Other than that it included a lot of stones at the bottom, quite large ones.

Finds were few, some pottery (mixed up with block 10!) and tiles. Nothing of note.

Excavations will continue tomorrow. // Block 7 was brushed and cleaned in preparation for later work in the area. It will however still need to be looked over when the bulk gets removed.
