This was the last block in the row following the front half of the bulk. We intend to examine the foundations of the stylobat here, going all the way down to the fillipra.

The soil is still yellowish brown include few pebble size stones to begin with. More and more does however pop up as we get further down, all of them being of the sharpish flake type so common at bedrock levels here. We also hit hard bedrock.

Finds were yet again few – it seems as if the front of the stoa has been cleared out at some point in comparison to the inner parts. Some pottery, tiles, 1 bone fragment and a stone pearl (Mycenaean?) was found. The latter came from in between two foundation stones under the styleobat. This means, if the preliminary interpretation is correct, that soil from some other area should have been brought in during the construction of stoa A. Yet, no apparently classical material has so far been found.

The only feature here was the foundation of the stoa which was built in one course of uncut (?) stones under the stoa. They were at least very rough.
