Block 4 was almost empty of finds. There were big stones in this layer, some of them were removed later on from the internal side of the cistern, mainly to get an idea of the shape as it is very irregular now. When we removed the stones we found plaster. There were no shells, no bones in this block, only tile and pottery and a terra cotta palmette. The bottom of block 4 is ca. 40 cm. from the top of the cistern.
