The bottom of block 12 top of 13 was measured with the folding rule; 124 cm from the bottom (in the eastern part) to the top of the cistern. "Pockets" appeared in the south and western part of the cistern, that consisted of stones and pottery. A concentration of about a dozen Murex was found below these pockets. Again we took 3 soil samples and it was decided that instead of sieving or rather throwing away the rest of the soil from the block, it was to be collected separately from the other soil samples to be water flotated, with the aim of a more over all look. The first results of the water floatation showed that it contained a large amount of finds of all sorts. 2 chemical analysis were taken from this block. It was necessary to even out the bottom because of the "pockets" for the sake of the measurements. There was a large amount of cobbles.
