Block 54 comprises D22, E22, E21 and parts of D21(excluding the "triangle" in the corner, see block 56). Very hard soil containing much fragmented cultural mat.: very fragmented bones (both burnt and unburnt), 20+ miniature handles and frag.of miniature pots. Scattered charcoal(1sample taken from D22). Metal item from D22 and glass frag.approx.5cm N of metal item. One possible bead frag.from D22. Cover tile piece from E22. Goat mandible from E21. NB: most of the miniature fragments and bones came from D22. Very similar composition of materials from under the stone tumble of 2008 peribolos trench.
