The intention with work in Block 33 was initially to cut a section across Wall 71. However, due to other priorities, the area within (N of) Wall 71 was not investigated at this time, and top measures therefore include a larger area than was actually excavated. The soil was very hard and contained few finds - this is what was expected since the assumption was that the southern face of Wall 71 is the exterior of the building. Some charcoal was collected, as were small fragments of red plaster.
