Block 21 did not yield any evidence of a ramp or steps leading up to Wall 114. The soil was loose and dark as in the other blocks of the area and contained many fragments of cut stones and tiles. Also, pieces of blue plastic were evident, especially at the SW end where some stones have been left in place since it is unclear whether they constitute part of a structure. However, at the NE end, the block cut into harder and more pale soil (Munsell 10YR 5/4 Yellowish brown) with a few finds. Some boulders rest directly on this soil and, although they do not seem to be in any order or to constitute more than a single layer, they could have been used for some sort of support.
