In order to examine the exterior of Wall 001, Block 28 was laid out next to it, at approximately the middle of the extension of the wall and in between the two flimsy walls found outside the building (one is almost in line with Wall 115 and the other almost parallel to Wall 001, although both of them are on a different level compared to the walls of the building, with the lowest course higher than that of Wall 001). The soil is extremely hard and has stayed exposed after earlier excavations (then excavated as part of Area D). Finds are few.
